Holography has been thought since its invention as the ideal tool to support the super dream of human beings to realize the natural display in three dimensions. It is predicted more and more obviously that this dream is rapidly coming to the reality under the half century endeavoring of the worldwide holographers. Display holography is now gradually going from the palace of art and science to the people's everyday life as an alternative way of display to challenge the acquired knowledge of IT (information technology) inevitably. The subject faced by future IT should not only be the present two dimensional image information but also the hybrid treatment of the spatial and temporal information by collecting, encoding, transporting, depositing, decoding and displaying holographically. 40 years ago, after  LASER was invented, it was once prejudiced as " Loot Acquired to Support Expensive Research "; 40 years later, today HOLOGRAM could be foreseen as "Historical Opportunity Light Offers to Get Rain of Adventure Money" because of LASER to expand the idea of communication from the temporal to spatial domain.

ISDH was once a big event for hundred of holographers worldwide gathering together to enjoy their common interests as well as sharing their unique experiences in display holography by means of four day sessions and affiliations in the family-like atmosphere. It is the home banquet for this special community of holographers who is the representatives of human beings with high intelligence to insist on pursuing a better peaceful life in the future for somewhat somehow as well as the respected pioneers of the forthcoming inevitable civilization alternation with or without consciousness.
 Now, the situation changes a lot:
1).The embossing hologram industry has been opening the door for hologram application centered to anti-counterfeit because of it's unique display method in principle and its still rapidly and strongly growing to bring about the revolutionary innovation of conventional printing and packaging industry, hologram has already been commonly accepted as new media of vision for some special purposes such as the anti-counterfeiting and commercial promotion. The market itself has created a practical "blue sea" for holography to develop deeply in science and technology and broadly in application and business, it is a completely new blue sea of the near future civilization in which the present application is only one corner of this iceberg.
2)Benefited from the modern information science and technology developed in the last century electronic civilization brought by the war and cold war, with the breakthrough of holographic recording materials in which the silver halide is coming back to continue its glorious past, the development of digital holography which combines effectively the electronic civilization and the photonic wisdom, and the commercial use of various solid or diode lasers which have good quality and cheap expenses, holography itself is gradually and profoundly changing from the technology of wavefront recording and reconstruction to the inevitable future "Natural Display" by recovering the natural information carried by photons with its quantized energy distribution temporally and spatially. We holographers could declare loudly than ever before that we can make a hologram of this world by means of available digital holography if we had enough time, because we have already mastered the way to freeze its Fourier Transform on a substantial matter and convolute them integrally as the appearance of various types of digital hologram.  
Therefore, this conference should be faced to the reality to expand from the home banquet of holographers to the platform for the people who wish to change their life better through holography to communicate thoroughly therefore to make holography more popularly understood, disseminated, and accepted as well as make our holographers more closed to the market demands than ever before. We shall open the door to who are not holographers but are aware of its future from their experiences of embossing hologram industry and have done something or are willing to do something for the development of this big business.
 Our common optimism is to start a new holography researching wave centered to the future IT symbolized by three dimensional display from this big event under the light of just flourishing embossing hologram industry.
