| Abstract |
| LightRain is a hanging kinetic sculpture of over eighty narrow transmission hologram shards of images of trees, branches, and leaves. The shards are suspended from a housing device that contains a small Vex robotic controller. Motors are programmed to run a simple up and down movement of the shards, which display jewel-like shimmering light effects with water-like reflections below and behind the sculpture. |
