How to apply for an F visa

A.Eligibility
Foreign citizens invited to china on official visit, survey, educator programmes, business, science& technology or cultural exchange programmes, short-term training, internship, etc.

B. Application Documents
1. Originals of the valid passport and visa for examination
2. Residence Registration Certificate for China
3. Entry visa/Resident permit Application Form with employer’s company chop
4. One recent 2-inch half-length, bareheaded and full-faced photographs
5. F Visa Application Letter in flavor of applicant by hosting organization to Beijing Municipal Administration of Entry & Exit

C. Term of validity
A O/singe/double-entry visa with a validity term under 6 moths or a 6/12-moth multi-entry visa can be granted with no limit to the numbers of application, subject to a maximum duration of 12 months’ consecutive stay from date of entry.

D. Time for Approval
With 5 working days, if Application documents are complete. If there is no temporary lodging proof, we need 6 working days. In special circumstances, it takes only 4 working days.

Invitation letter

China welcomes visitors from all countries who wishes to do business, tour, visit friends and relatives, or attend and participate in conferences. In general, you do not need to present personal letters of invitation from your hosts. It may be helpful, in our case, for you to include a copy of our FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS which give the general information on how you can be reached during the period of July 13-17.

However, if you believe that you have a special case, or have encountered difficulties in obtaining your visa, or that your visa office specifically requires a letter of invitation for you, then we will be happy to supply one to you through email.
