In addition to realizing three dimensional displays, holography was also found some other prospective applications with some unique advantages such as holographic nondestructive testing(HNDT), holographic optical element(HOE), and holographic data storage(HDS) etc. which are now gradually applied in their corresponding area. Combined with the rapidly developing computer science and microelectronic technology, the brilliant thought of holography has been expanded from the invention and demonstration in optical field to broader scientific and technical term rather than the conventional two beam interference. Your respectable contributions to this initiating holographic thought contrary to the “inertial” or sequential ways of thinking are expected by this session for your sparkling presentation. |
